ILS & Obsolescence Manager

Role type: Full time contract

Location: Bristol area, 23 days per week on-site

Day rate: Competitive, inside IR35

Security Clearance: Active SC or higher required for this role

Role Summary:

You will be working closely with one of our largest customers to manage the Integrated Logistic Support function on a part time basis. You will be customer facing and be responsible for maintenance of the ILS and Obsolescence artefacts such as; 

• Through Life Management Plan
• Software Support Plan 
• Integrated Logistic Support Plan.

Responsibilities:

• Leading and delivering the day-to-day management of effective integrated produce support for projects.
• Design, develop and manage the ILS including planning, coordinating resources and the support solution for products.
• Develop and manage ILS Work Breakdown Structure and schedules.
• Analysing the support requirements within a bid/project.
• Influence the product design.
• Develop, review and initiate updates to the Logistic Information Repository (LIR) to ensure its maintenance is in accordance with required standards
• Monitor and update the Risk Register and initiate actions with Engineering
• Lead the planning and delivery of the Supportability Analysis Programme.

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Understanding of predictive logistics models
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders across the business
• Prioritisation and ability to deal with multiple issues on a regular basis
• Strategic planning of support work, from supply chain through to customer delivery
• The successful candidate must be a SOLE UK National who holds a valid Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.

Qualifications

• A degree and/or Engineering experience.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer (or working towards).
