Location: Farnborough

Working pattern: 5 days on site (open to compressed working hours)

Salary: £70,000-80,000 + Benefits

The Role:

Parico is looking for an experienced Solution Architect to shape and deliver secure cloud platforms for our Public Sector clients. This is a hands-on role where you'll thrive on designing, implementing and optimising cloud solutions in complex and regulated environments. You'll work closely with small, agile teams to solve challenging problems, bringing innovation, technical depth and practical experience to every project.

You’ll be the go-to expert for translating business needs into secure, scalable and reliable cloud architectures. This includes guiding greenfield initiatives, improving existing platform services and ensuring solutions are robust, maintainable and operationally sound. The role is perfect for a mid to senior-level architect who enjoys direct involvement with technology, driving change and seeing your designs make a real difference for users and customers.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Designing and implementing secure, scalable cloud architectures that meet complex business and regulatory requirements

• Translate business needs into practical technical solutions, collaborating closely with small, agile teams

• Leading greenfield initiatives and improve existing platforms, ensuring reliability, performance and maintainability

• Providing hands-on guidance and oversight for deployments, upgrades and troubleshooting of live systems

• Driving automation and operational improvements, making platforms more efficient, secure and resilient

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Proven experience designing secure, scalable and robust solutions on public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)

• Excellent understanding of security best practices and regulatory frameworks relevant to the Public Sector

• You have ability to translate complex business requirements into practical, maintainable cloud architectures

• You're comfortable working with live systems, performing upgrades, troubleshooting and operational improvements

• Experience guiding technical teams, influencing design decisions and driving architectural standards
