Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Farnborough

Working pattern: 5 days on site (open to compressed working hours)

Salary: £60,000-70,000 + Benefits

The Role:

Parico is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to shape and maintain secure cloud platforms across the Public Sector. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of live systems, performing deployments, upgrades, patching and 3rd line troubleshooting, while driving automation and operational improvements.

You’ll work on both existing infrastructure and greenfield projects, solving complex challenges alongside a small, agile team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives close to the technology, enjoys problem-solving, and wants the freedom to innovate while ensuring platforms are robust, secure, and scalable. What You'll Be Doing:

• Supporting and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure to ensure reliable, high-performing platforms

• Deploying, upgrading, patching and troubleshooting live systems, providing 3rd line support when needed

• Drive automation and operational improvements to enhance efficiency, reliability and security

• Contribute to greenfield projects and change initiatives, applying hands-on expertise to deliver practical solutions

• Collaborate with small, agile teams to solve complex technical challenges in Public Sector environments

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure or GCP, including secure and scalable infrastructure design

• Skilled in deployments, upgrades, patching and 3rd line troubleshooting of live systems

• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) and scripting (PowerShell, Bash)

• Excellent understanding of security best practices and Public Sector regulatory standards

• Ability to work closely with small, agile teams to solve complex technical challenges effectively
